Accessibility Statement
Last updated: April 15, 2026
Our Commitment
ContractorHUB is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We continually improve the user experience for everyone and apply the relevant accessibility standards to make our Platform and marketing website usable by the widest possible audience, regardless of technology or ability.
Conformance Status
We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA, the internationally recognized standard for web accessibility. WCAG defines requirements for designers and developers to improve accessibility for people with disabilities.
Our Platform is partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 Level AA. Partially conformant means that some parts of the content do not fully conform to the accessibility standard. We are actively working to address these areas.
Accessibility Features
Our Platform includes the following accessibility features:
- Keyboard Navigation: All functionality is available using a keyboard alone; you do not need a mouse.
- Screen Reader Support: Semantic HTML, ARIA labels, and landmark regions to work with screen readers such as JAWS, NVDA, and VoiceOver.
- Color Contrast: Text and interactive elements meet or exceed WCAG 2.1 AA color contrast requirements.
- Resizable Text: Text can be resized up to 200% without loss of content or functionality.
- Alternative Text: Images and icons include descriptive alternative text.
- Focus Indicators: Visible focus indicators on all interactive elements.
- Form Labels: All form controls have associated labels and clear error messages.
- Responsive Design: The Platform adapts to different screen sizes, orientations, and assistive technologies.
- Reduced Motion: We respect the "prefers-reduced-motion" browser setting and minimize animation for users who prefer it.
Known Limitations
Despite our best efforts, some areas of our Platform may not be fully accessible. Known limitations include:
- Third-Party Content: Some third-party integrations and embedded content (such as mapping tools and AI-generated output) may not fully meet accessibility standards. We are working with vendors to improve this.
- PDF Documents: Some older PDF documents may not be fully accessible. We can provide alternative formats on request.
- Legacy Features: Certain legacy features may not meet all WCAG 2.1 AA criteria. These are being updated as part of our ongoing accessibility improvements.
Ongoing Efforts
We take the following measures to ensure accessibility:
- Include accessibility as part of our design and development process.
- Provide accessibility training to our team members.
- Conduct regular accessibility audits using both automated tools and manual testing.
- Engage users with disabilities in our usability testing.
- Review this statement at least annually.
Assessment Approach
ContractorHUB assesses the accessibility of the Platform using a combination of:
- Automated testing tools (axe, Lighthouse, WAVE).
- Manual testing with screen readers (NVDA, VoiceOver) and keyboard-only navigation.
- Third-party expert accessibility reviews.
